||Geometric modeling is one of the fundamental areas of research in Computer Graphics. While this field has dramatically evolved since the very beginning, capturing and modeling geometric descriptions of everyday objects still pose interesting and challenging questions. Modeling the geometry of an object by hand is an elaborate task that easily requires hours of manual labor. Nevertheless it still is one of the most used modeling techniques in content creation.
We develop algorithms and techniques to advance the field of geometric modeling. In particular we focus on Shape Analysis and Correspondence, Procedural and Inverse Procedural Modeling as well as on Simulation and Animation-based Modeling.
